For centuries, the true identity of Mary Magdalene has remained something of a historical mystery, often obscured by widespread misunderstanding. According to the Gospels, Mary Magdalene was a devoted disciple of Jesus, from whom He had miraculously cast out seven demons. Apostle to the Apostles 宗徒中的宗徒
All four Gospels confirm that she was the first to discover the empty tomb and encounter the Risen Christ, and that Christ Himself entrusted her with the profound mission of announcing His Resurrection to the other Apostles. Because she was chosen to proclaim the Lord's Resurrection to the Twelve, the Church has long honored her with the ancient and noble title "Apostle to the Apostles."
